First, there was a notice for the annual Joey Ramone Birthday Bash, which happened a few weeks ago; the video has been up already at the link below:

The event has been held on the birthday of late Joey Ramone; all the NYC punk bands gather together, including the Dictators and Tish and Snooky's Sick Fxxk this year.
You could see John san MCing right around a half way of whole video; and looks like it was full of fan and good music!
And then update info about his blog; he wrote a long post, a very interesting back story about a drawing (below) that was used on new PUNK issue 22 "Iggy Pop special issue".

The drawing by Punk's illustrator Bruce Carleton is based on the actual experience Bruce had. John san says that writing about this particular person on the left in the drawing "took up most of my time this week", but yes, it is very interesting indeed.
And here is the main topic of the newsletter, a list of the songs that he "like to listen to while writing these newsletters...", with 8 of his favorite songs, which is pretty substantial all by itself.
The list is great, particularly that he put a rare video footage of the Ramones playing at the loft of Arturo Vega (their art director at the time); it was a long before MTV, but John san saw this video back then at his friend house, before he saw the actual band. He says "This was a big reason I figured I would like the band and convinced me to go see them a month later at CBGB in the summer of 1975"
And at the end of the newsletter, there's a link to a podcast, where John san as a guest, talking about how he moved to NYC, started Punk Magazine, the new issue, and about the merchandising in Japan (us!).

And that was all from one newsletter two weeks ago; we got a couple more since then, and now we have a epic in series. John san declared "Okay, it’s time to tell the whole story about how I went on the 1978 US Sex Pistols tour"!!
"Let any Sex Pistols fanatics (or any punk rock fans) know about this newsletter so they can read the whole story."
